What Is MAC Address Generator?
A free online MAC address generator for network testing and development. Generate 1-50 random MAC addresses with configurable output format (colon-separated, hyphen-separated, Cisco-style dotted, or no separator), uppercase or lowercase letters, and optional vendor OUI prefix selection from major manufacturers including Cisco, Google, Apple, VMware, Intel, Dell, and more. Download results as a CSV file. All generation is local and instant.
Testing network applications, simulating devices, and developing software that processes MAC addresses all require valid-but-synthetic MAC addresses. MAC Address Generator produces IEEE 802-compliant MAC addresses in batch quantities, with configurable output formats and optional vendor-specific Organizationally Unique Identifier (OUI) prefixes.
Generate 1 to 50 MAC addresses at once. Each address consists of six 2-digit hexadecimal octets. Choose from four output formats: colon-separated (00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E), hyphen-separated (00-1A-2B-3C-4D-5E), Cisco-style dotted (001A.2B3C.4D5E), or plain (001A2B3C4D5E). Toggle between uppercase and lowercase hex digits.
The vendor OUI selector lets you generate addresses that appear to come from specific manufacturers: Cisco, Google, Apple, VMware, Intel, Dell, Samsung, Huawei, Juniper, and more. The OUI is the first three octets of the MAC address, assigned by the IEEE Registration Authority to identify the device manufacturer. When a vendor is selected, the first three octets match the manufacturer's registered prefix while the remaining three octets are randomly generated.
All generation is local and instant. Download the generated addresses as a CSV file for use in spreadsheets, test scripts, or device simulation configurations.
