What Is Small Text Generator?
A free online small text generator that transforms regular text into Unicode fancy text styles. Choose from cursive, bold, italic, superscript, subscript, monospace, fraktur, double-struck, and sans-serif. Perfect for social media bios, usernames, game names, and messages.
Small text, also called small caps, subscript, superscript, or tiny text, is Unicode text that appears in a smaller visual size than surrounding content. It is widely used in social media bios, usernames, comments, and creative writing to create distinctive typographic effects. Small Text Generator converts your normal text into multiple small-text variants using Unicode characters.
The tool offers four small-text formats: small caps, superscript, subscript, and tiny text. Each has a dedicated display panel showing the transformed version of your input text. Click any variant to copy it to your clipboard.
The transformation works by mapping each character to its Unicode small-form equivalent. Not every letter has a direct small-form counterpart — for missing characters, the tool uses the closest approximation or leaves the character unchanged. Uppercase and lowercase letters are handled separately to produce the best visual result for each format.
The tool is also useful for creating text that takes up less visual space in character-restricted fields. Superscript text, for example, can add annotations or footnotes within limited character counts. The output includes a visual size comparison against normal text so you can see the effect before copying.
