¿Qué es Cifrado Atbash?

Herramienta de cifrado Atbash y Riel gratuita en línea. Cifra o descifra texto usando algoritmos de cifrado clásicos.

¿Por qué usar Cifrado Atbash?

  • Atbash: full alphabet reversal (A↔Z through M↔N)
  • Atbash: optional digit reversal (0↔9)
  • Rail Fence: configurable rail count (2-10)
  • Rail Fence: visual rail pattern display
  • Both ciphers are self-inverse or fully bidirectional

Cómo usar Cifrado Atbash — Paso a paso

1

Select Atbash or Rail Fence mode.

2

For Atbash: type your text and optionally toggle number reversal.

3

For Rail Fence: set the number of rails (2-10) and choose Encrypt or Decrypt.

4

View the rail pattern visualization to understand the transposition.

5

Copy or save the output as needed.

¿Para quién es Cifrado Atbash?

Cifrado Atbash — Preguntas frecuentes

What is Atbash cipher?

Atbash is a substitution cipher where the first letter of the alphabet is replaced with the last (A↔Z), the second with the second-last (B↔Y), and so on. It was originally used with the Hebrew alphabet in ancient texts.

What is the Rail Fence cipher?

The Rail Fence cipher writes your message diagonally across a set number of "rails" (rows), then reads the letters row by row. For example, with 3 rails, the text "HELLO WORLD" follows a zigzag pattern across the three rows.

Are these ciphers secure by modern standards?

No. Both are classical ciphers that can be broken easily with modern techniques. They are useful for learning cryptography fundamentals, solving puzzles, and understanding historical encryption methods.
