ASCII art transforms ordinary text into visual designs using only characters from the ASCII character set. Popular in early computer culture, email signatures, and forum posts, ASCII art adds a retro, creative touch to text. ASCII Art Generator converts your text into multiple font styles using configurable characters.

Select a font style from six options: Simple (basic block letters), Block (filled character blocks), Diamond (diamond-shaped characters), Arrow Up (pointed upward style), Heart (heart-shaped characters), and Star (star-shaped characters). Each style renders uppercase letters A-Z and numbers 0-9.

Enter any text using uppercase letters and numbers. The preview area shows the transformed ASCII art in a dark terminal-style theme with green monospace text — the classic retro computer aesthetic. The art can be customized by changing the character used for drawing. The default uses the style's standard character, but you can substitute any single character.

The generated ASCII art can be copied to clipboard with one click or downloaded as a text file. Each character in your input is rendered as a block of multiple lines of text characters, creating the visual design. Spaces between input characters are preserved in the output for readability.
