The NATO phonetic alphabet is a standardized set of code words used to spell letters and numbers over radio, telephone, or other voice communications where clarity is critical. "Alpha, Bravo, Charlie" is instantly recognizable worldwide, used in aviation, military, maritime, emergency services, and customer service call centers to prevent misunderstanding when spelling names, codes, or addresses.

The converter maps each character to its NATO code word: A becomes Alfa (or AL-FAH in code format), B becomes Bravo, C becomes Charlie, through Z = Zulu.
